You have entered the senescent maze,
Where you will spend the rest of your days.
Seize possibility
From the exits you see,
And find either derision or praise.
The exit you select matters not.
Many others have found what they sought.
Yet some people perceive,
When they fail to achieve,
Their endeavor amounted to naught.
This is not a solitary quest.
Kindred spirits will soon manifest.
Some will stay for a day,
And then be on their way,
While those who remain are the truest.
The labyrinthine path is loaded
With dead ends and pitfalls unshielded.
Your enemies connive,
But you make it alive,
To your destination undaunted.
