Many adults share
A desire to go back
To a time when
Life was simple
Childhood
A time when there were
No responsibilities
No job, no bills
No adult woes
Childhood
Nice as this may be
I hold a different view
There is much more
Liberty in
Adulthood
Freedom of movement
Freedom to live as you choose
Money to spend
On better toys
Adulthood
There lies the loophole
Harmony between the years
A child’s heart
An adult’s mind
Balanced soul
